On Sunday 9th November 2014 the Kent London Athletics Network hosted an ‘Intro to sprint hurdles and technical delivery workshop’ at Norman Park Track attended by approx. 24 people. The workshop was run by Lorna Boothe who is a double Olympian and Commonwealth Gold and Silver Medallist in the 100m hurdles and GB Team Manager for 9 years which included being the Senior Team Manager for the Sydney Olympics.
London Sport are launching their Individual Coaching Bursary. The aim of the fund is not only to develop our Coaching Workforce at Level 1 & Level 2, but to also help increase the number of people participating in sport across London with a focus on increasing participation in 11-25 year olds.
On Saturday 18th October 2014 the Kent London Athletics Network hosted a marathon running workshop at Norman Park Track. The workshop was run by Mara Yamauchi who currently holds the second fastest time by a British woman over the marathon, behind the world-record holder, Paula Radcliffe.
The Network is holding a Nutrition Workshop on Wednesday 21st May 7-9pm at the Norman Park Track, delivered by Ruth Tongue - see www.ruthtongue.com.

The workshop is free to bona fide members of the network member clubs, or £10 to non members.
The Kent London Athletics Network is pleased to announce that an Emergency First Aid at Work course is being made available on Saturday 10th May. Limited spaces are available so you will need to act quickly. This course has been very popular when put on previously by the Network. The course is again delivered by Storm Solutions.
