The network will identify and provide the support required to help clubs achieve Clubmark through regular meetings and other forms of communication; and help to support clubs in the network to become more efficient and self sustaining through the development of appropriate systems and structures, fundraising initiatives and the clubs' contributions towards local general sports development and facility improvement.
Specifically the network will:
- Run an Open Forum to share models of Best Practice
- Organise a “Why Volunteer?” evening - one per club
- Organise appropriate training for volunteers in particular Team Managers
- Run L1 Officials course for network club members and in 1 secondary school per borough
- Run L2 Officials Course
- Run a Road Running officials L2 course / risk assessment course
- Help clubs to work together on road race and cross country organization
- Organise a Forum where information on Vetting & Barring, Clubmark, and Welfare Procedures are disseminated
