Four funding streams are available;

A small grants fund that is available to clubs/organisations that wish to set up a new club, section or increase membership within an established section. Grants of £500-£4,000 are available to assist with the initial running costs associated with starting up a new section/club, or extending a current section when the member base isn’t fully established (e.g. facility hire, coach costs, equipment). This fund is intended to help meet identified need within the Lewisham community and should help contribute to the outputs of the sport plans.

Sustain

A small grants fund that is available to established Lewisham focus sport clubs from within the borough to help sustain their community. Grants of £500-£3,500 are available to assist with operational costs. This fund is intended to help clubs continue to play a part in the Lewisham framework for sport and physical activity and deliver against the outcomes in the Lewisham sports plan.

Funding is not available to those who are receiving lottery support through the national governing body of their sport.

Skills
